"In my college days, The Navigators taught me the value of a disciplined life. In our Crusades, they developed the unsurpassed follow-up methods we use today. Thank God for The Navigators." Billy Graham
The Navigators is an apostolic and multicultural partnership, called to advance the Gospel among
the nations for the glory of God. We do this by winning the lost and helping them build their lives
in Christ, so that the Gospel will bear fruit and flourish through successive generations.
Currently The Navigators has full and part-time missionaries and key lay people working in 104
countries internationally.
Sheffield student ministry was started in 2001 by Drs Andrew & Mary Grafton who are part-time Navigator representatives.
They both work part-time as General Practitioners in Sheffield and have 3 children.
The ministry is based around small group study and fellowship, supplemented with meeting one-to-one for help and
encouragement in personal discipleship. Meetings are based at our home. The group has students from both the Sheffield
and Hallam Universities, and is interdenominational in approach although the majority of students join us for Sunday
Worship at Cemetery Road Baptist Church.
We seek to help students become rooted and established in the Christian faith (Colossians 3:6,7) and help them learn
how to express that faith through love (Galatians 5:6) The Ituna Community Project is an example of this in action.
